life update ~ show updates ~ truthfully, the past year n a half has been exceptionally hard. I’ve been dealin w ongoing health issues, consistent lack of sleep, friends passing away, housing troubles, family stuff, unexpectedly lost my job o 10 years, etc… combined w the dismal local and wider world news every day, gotmelike 😵‍💫🫨🫣😱😭 i been doin my best & am grateful for every day magic in the nooks. I am thankful for the love in my life and my bf’s steady support. but i miss my friends ~ everyone’s busy & goin thru their own stuff. It can feel lonely n distant at times, but I know we care about each other deeply. Maybe this is just what it’s like getting older in our modern day society? I hope not! (if yr reading this n yr my friend n we haven’t seen each other in a sec, let’s laugh n cry n hug about it all soon pls ❤️) anyway, the only thing that makes any sort o sense, at least in an intuitive mystical way, is music 🎶 on this note, im doin my second ever improv show tomorrow (Thursday) w @ben_goldberg_bag @atwalhamir @conklinmusic at Bird & Beckett, then Friday I’ll be on bass w Mae Powell @taurus.woman at Ivy Room, and i’ll be playing w my full band at the Golden Gate Park bandshell for free not this, but next Saturday May 2 alongside @naked_roommate and @noelleandthedeserters ✨💥✨ it’s been difficult to find the time, but ive still been workin on my new album & feel stoked on how it’s coming along, w big help from super producer Spencer Noble @goodforyourbones 🫶 Thanks for reading if you’ve made it this far. I rarely post personal things these days but sometimes the spirit moves me to do it, even if just to remind myself and others that what we see of each others life on social media is rly not the whole picture at all. I mostly like to share music stuff and photos on here of my views from strolls & the insides / outsides of beautiful abodes bc i love SF w all my heart, even tho it’s being overrun w AI monstrosity that’s making housing even more mindblowingly expensive than before. Thankful to know so many cool people keepin the city alive 🙏❤️‍🩹

❤️ ! 2 years w the kindest most caring n handsome gentleman ~ time flew by w him by my side. im so inspired by his sweet heart, steadiness, sincerity, how smart n curious he is 📚 plus his talking voice, singing voice, his smile all melt my heart. in my mind, he’s the definition of “getchoo a man who ____” ❤️‍🔥😌😍 heh, cheesy but true. life comes w lots o bumpiness n uncertainty… he helps me feel much more hopeful and grounded in navigating difficult things the past couple years. both in life outside our relationship, as well as in how we communicate w one another when somethin comes up for us. im very thankful n lookin forward to sharing in more growth, love, adventures, & cozy times together ✨✨✨
