Lilac Brûlée @fzotic
This was a failed blind buy last year and my only bottle casualty from shooting. A gust of wind left her shattered and empty but I didn’t exactly enjoy the scent - floral gourmands can be tricky to get the balance right and there was something just off about it on my skin. I wanted to love it. But lilacs are my signature sign of spring, and these were a gift from my mother’s garden! 🌱 I can’t help but love how these shots turned out regardless of whether the scent worked for me.

• Dopamine Rose - I’ve featured this before; sugar dusted rose petals. One of my most-worn roses🌹
• Inner Child - sparkly and angelic clean girl. Not too fresh, not too sweet, not too literal. A bubble bath in a bottle.
• Delusions of Grandeur - boozy, decadent, addictive.
• Dreams and Nightmares - jewel-toned greenery, lush and saturated. Not overly patchouli forward but keeps an earthy balance with a bright opening. 🌱

One of the most elegant roses in my collection. I’ve saved her for special occasions and times when I want to feel beautiful to my core and divinely feminine. The rose is lush and sweet, balanced with a rich, earthy base. It’s simply mesmerizing. ❤️

The effervescent, almost tangy top notes of Existence is still one of the most unique openings to a fragrance I’ve tried. She’s radiant and glows from within. One of my favorite scents featuring Lily of the valley, and I adore shooting with the flower that grows in my own garden. 🤍

Posting from an Acela to bring you my business trip scent of choice. I am fully entrenched in laundry scents, and Cedar Chic is my latest (blind) buy. It’s by far the sweetest and less literal take on a laundry freshie - the orange blossom and airy musks balance out the vibe of a crisp white linen shirt. It feels more subtle and put together than I was expecting, in a good way. I appreciate all of the tiny variations in a scent profile I’ve been enamored by lately. 🤍

I think this beauty has become one of my most-worn from the house. It reminds me almost of a summer sorbet - vibrant citrus lifted with bold, radiant florals. The base is creamy and vanillic, yet still invigorating and lively. I LOVE.

Been waiting ages for my favorite haircare brand to launch a hair perfume 🥹 energizing citrus, florals, and a creamy sandalwood/vanilla base. It certainly doesn’t project or overpower - more like a subtle way to brighten your locks if you use heat or styling tools. More importantly, it’s not drying and doesn’t leave residue. A drop of the elixir ultime and a spritz of gloss absolu le parfum and I’m ready for the day.

Scent of the day - Centre Stage 🍊
I’ve been loving orange blossom lately, and Centre Stage is a highlight in that scent profile. Not overly fluffy sweetness, but a honeyed floral with dark leather nuances. Let the lavendar settle on first spritz (it initially kicks you in the face) but within moments, you’re left with a commanding juxtaposition of syrupy sunny orange blossom, dry orris, and animalic styrax. I find it so intriguing every time I wear it. Perfectly unisex, oozing with confidence and mystery, and leaves me coming back for more and more.
