The 2026 edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano revolved around the theme “A Matter of Salone.”
This approach, centred on material substance, placed style in the background and positioned matter as the true foundation of design. This evocative starting point called for a deeper exploration of density, tactility, sustainability and research; something that resonates deeply with our vision, where material has consistently been both the origin and the core of our designs.

At @isaloniofficial we featured our Cadenza collection by @davidlopezquincoces which draws from Expormim’s rattan tradition and emerges as a statement of how the material can trigger and determine the design process as well as the final object, proving that matter matters. And proving that we had done our homework before coming to the Salone.
