This past weekend I had the chance to complete the North America Defender Trophy Challenge — what an experience!!
Out of a huge pool of applicants, 120 people were selected to compete for the final challenge in Africa. While I won’t be heading to Africa, this experience challenged me, built me, and changed me in all the right ways.
The best part? The people. Everyone had an incredible story, and no matter who you talked to, it felt like home — easy, supportive, and inspiring. Somehow, a group of strangers turned into a solid team in no time. I really hope our paths cross again — preferably somewhere out there, taking on a few more challenges together

Not 100% sure what to say beyond extraordinary. I did stuff I never thought possible for me to do with some of the coolest, most unique, focused, skilled people I’ve ever encountered. And you already know how much I love the Defender. Capable bugger. #defendertrophy delivered hard. And even though I won’t be heading to Africa for the final competition in October, I am completely invested in the outcome. Maybe I’ll post more. Maybe not. This one wasn’t work, it was just mine. But if you love adventure at all I highly recommend applying the next time they do this. @nickdimbleby you were discussed a lot!! @defender

One of the best things about this ski season for all of us was watching Rose blossom into an expert skier. We’re so happy we were able to teach her young and she’ll have these skills for life!
