O świecie, w którym technologie cyfrowe nie są już „przyszłością”, ale codziennym narzędziem pracy projektanta. W Pracowni Designu Eksperymentalnego testujemy granice tych możliwości — od CAD/CAM, druku 3D i CNC po działania w VR. Na wystawie pokazujemy nie tylko gotowe obiekty, biżuterię i produkty, ale również fragmenty procesu projektowego: pliki cyfrowe, modele i eksperymenty, które prowadzą do finalnej formy. About a world in which digital technologies are no longer “the future”, but an everyday part of the designer’s practice. At the Experimental Design Studio, we explore the boundaries of these possibilities — from CAD/CAM, 3D printing and CNC technologies to VR-based practices. The exhibition presents not only finished objects, jewellery and products, but also fragments of the design process itself: digital files, models and experiments that lead to the final form. 🇵🇱 Czy projektowanie biżuterii może przypominać rysowanie w powietrzu? Czy forma może powstać najpierw w przestrzeni, której nie da się dotknąć? 9 maja, przed Galerią Ring, zaprosimy Was do świata, w którym granica między rzeczywistością a cyfrową wyobraźnią zaczyna się zacierać. Podczas „live demo” - performatywnego pokazu studentki ASP w Gdańsku będą tworzyć formy 3D bez kartki, bez stołu i bez tradycyjnych narzędzi. During a performance-based demonstration „live demo”, students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk will create 3D forms without paper, without a table, and without traditional tools. Wearing VR headsets and using the Gravity Sketch program, they will begin to “draw” directly in space - using gestures, movement, and light. 📷 Another flashback from the 1st International Summit of Jewellery Classes and Pop-up Exhibition at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. The Experimental Design Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk @experimental_design_studio presented a collection of jewellery designed using Virtual Reality technology and 3D printing. Our studio's presence within the Faculty of Design confirmed our digital expertise, and the results of our work were met with interest from other event participants. ‼️Last snapshot = historical document – Prof. Herman Hermsen testing VR goggles and the possibilities of drawing in virtual space. 👉 CU next year in Munich.

W poszukiwaniu sojuszników i partnerów dla systematycznej promocji bursztynu, zorientowanej na design, biznes i wysoką jakość sięgnęliśmy do źródeł – tam gdzie wydobywany jest surowiec, z którego powstaje nasza biżuteria. Dzięki zaangażowaniu firm, osób i instytucji z Lubelszczyzny edukacyjna wystawa pt. LUBELSKI BURSZTYN zawitała do gmachu Senatu RP w Warszawie jako początek prawdziwie światowej strategii promocyjnej. Oprócz wyjątkowych okazów geologicznych i przykładów bursztynowego surowca prezentowane są projekty studentów Wydziału Wzornictwa gdańskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych wykonane w innowacyjnej technologii CNC.
