To celebrate her 2nd anniversary of @larc_patisserie Chef Li Xiaoli made a classic St. Honoré "cake." It's as delicious as it is beautiful. She'll likely have some tomorrow, too.
Cold soba noodles with cured salmon and tobiko at @kaizume_okc Phenomenal dish! I want the sauce on the noodles made available in pint jars asap. They are slow-rolling into their grand opening later this month, so for now it's dinner Tue-Sat with reservations preferred.
@chefkleeokc is a @foodnetwork darling, celebrity chef and owner of two of Oklahoma City’s best restaurants: @birdiesokc and @maht_okc .
This week he will be joining more than three dozen chefs at the @omnipgafriscoresort in Frisco, Texas, for SAVOR, a four-day culinary event, featuring food, wine, cocktails and golf, as well as an impressive lineup of hospitality luminaries like @elizabethblau , Master Sommelier @thegrapeunknown and an internationally famous collection of “Top Chef” and Food Network alumni.
A grand tasting happening May 2, 2026 will provide guests an opportunity to sample food by and interact with chefs like Lee, @mastercheftd@chefshota@deanfearing@g_erales and @choibites .

Jicama "snapper" at this month's vegetarian dinner at Picasso Cafe in @paseoartsdistrict Chef @tatted_honeylove paired vegan Mexican with four different agave spirits last night, and it was phenomenal. As always @kimmereno and her team slung fantastic cocktails, and this dish was the highlight for me. Making jicama taste this good is tough, but Chef Ashley has always been impressive, and the salsa macha was acdtually the best part of the whole evening. This remains one of the best value special event dinners in the metro, and reservations for next month are already available.
“We want to bring back downtown lunch” says @teambogie , Founder and CEO of The Social Order. “We will have state-of-the-art culinary equipment, and the goal is to create a community space. It sounds odd, but Wildcat is the answer to the question ‘What would a modern-day saloon look like if the form had evolved?’”
@thesocialorderok has leased both the Wildcat space, which is basically a corner bar with awning, and the former Pizza Town space adjacent on the east. Bogert said the Pizza Town spot will be yet another concept, but he won’t be making an announcement until later this year.

Thanks so much to my favorite dynamic duo @hayleyhholmes and @peyton_neighbors for the invite to their joint "Exit the Plumbing Day" party. (I named it that, not them, so the fault is mine.) @thesushigoose took care of the food, and they always do a phenomenal job. Apologies for asking a million logistical questions; I have a touch of the 'tism about me.
Because he knows I'm sad that OKC's best Theta burger is no longer available (RIP OG S&B), Shannon Roper told me @theclassengrill has a char burger on the menu right now. It's intensely delicious and so close to a Theta. Hopefully they're just testing its appeal to see if it belongs on the regular menu. It does; it really does.
Y'all, Chef Jason Heald is the new exec at @thechalkboardokc in the @ambassadorokc and he's already stabilizing and improving the current menu. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with when he gets to add his own touches. This weekend, the gulf snapper with roasted poblano risotto is exceptional. Two days in a row with Gulf of Mexico fish. Hell yeah!
