WE NEED YOUR HELP ‼️‼️‼️ On the 25.04.2026 NanaBcool was at Moritzplatz when he experienced massive racist police violence. The video footage of this racist violence went viral where he was pinned down by 6 cops while screaming for help and alerting the cops that he could not breath. Such disproportionate racist violence is at no point justified and should be punished. Legal steps are being taken but this takes time and is emotionally taxing as the aftermath of such an event has made it difficult to continue with his music. As Nana struggles with the psycholgical Trauma of such an event and is attempting to position himself legally he could use your support to alleviate the financial strain such a situation brings with it. To protect his person we have decided as friends to take care of the crowdfunding on his behalf and are in regular touch with him and establishing a support network around the situation. We request you to not contact him directly and contact the organisers of the crowdfunding if you have letters of support or capacities to get involved! Additionally we as the organizers have decided against linking the footage of the police violence to protect our brothers and sisters and to refrain from pushing such footage to justify donations. There is nothing more important to me than the choice to fight for a people, a culture and a history that has always touched me and followed me. The Congo is not only the place where my parents were born. It’s also a historical place where wonders have manifested and will continue to manifest through the power of life. People need time to find themselves... but how can they do that if their only goal and model of life is to carry a bunch of super-heavy bags in the hope of selling them in the city? A lack of time to dream and a lot of wasted time because the roads and paths are primitive, to change it will cost something, but it’ll always be less than a LV or DG. We have the power to do so let’s use it…!!! #ubuntu

‘We carry the ocean with kite strings tied around our waist. During artist @julianknxx time in Berlin and Hamburg, he faced the challenges of heritage, belonging and inheritance head on. The legacies of race and colonialism are found not just within the fabric of the cities (Berlin’s ‘Africa quarter’ is made up of 22 streets dedicated to colonial regions and their former colonisers), but also in the ways Black and Afro-German people navigate and relate to the cities and themselves. How do you live when resistance is a daily requirement? Juliankxx sees writing as inherently hopeful. It feels like is finished but.. On 27/12 I turn 30, and I enter my 9 cycle. For the first time, I am consciously living the 999 alignment. A rare moment where identity, life path, and timing meet. It marks the end of a cycle and the opening of another. I choose to embrace it with calm, confidence, @kasapioofficial and what’s God mean for me. Letting go of what must leave, and welcoming what is meant to come. Once more.. nothing new under the sun. Aligné…!!! #nyege10

I understand that culture is not meant to remain frozen, folklorised, or repeated like a living museum. It is alive, meant to move through time, transform, and absorb the present. To belong to a culture is not to preserve it unchanged, but to let it evolve. And to contribute to it is to add something new and singular, born from one’s own uniqueness. Heritage is not repetition, but living transmission through creation. This understanding shaped the year that just ended a year rich in experiences. Through people and places, I was given the space to express myself freely, and I grew in ways I didn’t think were still possible. There were successes and challenges, of course, but above all lessons that required humility. I began this journey believing I could arrive in Congo kasaï and change things in one year with my own two hands lol.. My faith in myself is strong , thanks God I hope that never changes ahah. I learned that the path is about development and continuity. The time it takes matters less than the intention behind it. I choose to let this project unfold without trying to impress anyone with immediate results. It’s not about when it will happen, but how and why. I place this project under the protection of my guides, angels, and good ancestors. I now understand that such a vision carries political, financial, and human complexities far greater than I first imagined. Thankfully, strong forces have gathered around it, and last year made it clear to me that we are not alone ✨ Big up to the Congolese Minister of Culture, to the Chancellor in Paris, to the cultural chiefs of Kasaï, Congo, to @gaswerksiedlung_berlin and @studio1111berlin for a year of development, realisation, and creative freedom, to @nyegenyegefest for the support, and to all my loves in Berlin and elsewhere who contributed through donations, fundraising, the purchase of @kasapioofficial , or other forms of support. Nothing is finished on the contrary. With an expanding vision and deep gratitude, I share this with tears of joy.
