Bonsu Lights Berlin exhibition. Big thanks to everyone who came to the show last week.
Also special thanks to the BAM team for inviting me to your space and for all your help, couldn’t have done it without you!
Bonsu Lights is the first independent design collection from Stockholm-based spatial designer Emilio Osei-Bonsu @ex.bonsu .
The project reimagines stage lighting as sculptural objects with presence, even when turned off. Each fixture is wireless, battery-driven, and crafted in anodized aluminum, mirrored steel, and 3D-printed glass.
Minimal and tactile, the lights work as tools for live shows and as objects in exhibition spaces. Bonsu Lights shifts lighting from background utility to a defining element, framing space, shaping atmosphere, and becoming part of the visual language of performance.

Bonsu Lights is a design project I’ve been working on over the past year.
The idea was simple, to create wireless stage lights with a more sculptural approach to lighting, designed to work on stage and in spatial installations.
After countless sketches, tests and prototypes the first models are finally done!!
Massive thanks to the geniuses @everydaye.co and @hangmen.studio - our collaboration on design and production has been priceless. None of this would’ve been possible without you.

In January during Paris Fashion Week, we designed and produced an event for adidas and Sneakersnstuff. The day started with a morning run in the new Adizero EVO SL, followed by an intimate live performance with Mos Def, sound healing, and record digging at Yoyaku.
