The Day Moves Summer lineup up Who would’ve thought we’d be planning a Summer that incorporates a 2nd birthday for Day Moves? 😀 Full credit and endless thank yous to everyone that comes along and makes it what it is. Only with the current momentum would we dream of making these bookings and it’s 100% down to the atmosphere, the Day Moves dance floor and the word of mouth that the community carries. Also the fact that DJs that play are always asking to return says everything about what we’ve all made here. Gareth Sommerville Gareth needs little introduction within the confines of the Day Moves faithful. He returns again, a seasoned pro and without doubt one of Scotland’s most enduring house DJs. Nothing flashy here just diamond hard modernity. Ewan Pearson A very rare DJ appearance and extremely rare in Scotland. Ewan is a man of taste and a prolific remixer to the likes of Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Chic and Foals among others. An absolute hero at Day Moves towers and one picked off the Day Moves bucket list. Ewan, welcome! Stevie Cox After last years debut we had to invite sub Club’s Stevie Cox back to Day Moves for more tough electronics. Hailing from Manchester but now based in Glasgow Stevie has established herself as Sub Club resident as well as dates across Europe and continues to release tracks in her own name. Lisa Loud Lisa needs needs little introduction as the First Lady of Dance. Not many can claim to be one of the original Balearic gang along with Paul Oakenfold, Rampling and Nancy Noise blazing a trail to the White Isle. I worked on a very exciting job this autumn - if you’re in Sydney, Australia tonight for New Year’s Eve or you watch the Harbour fireworks on TV from wherever you are in the world, the twelve minutes of accompanying music was written by my dear friend @jono.ma and mixed by me. A bonkers project to work on but you’re in for a real treat (and you can stream the music on all the things also).
