Seeing so many bears this year while living @arrowmont_school inspired me to make some bear pins which then inspired me to make a bear sticker based on the pin. Here I show the bear sticker in many of the places where the other AIRs and I have had bear encounters.

When I bought my kiln off of FB marketplace last year I got a bonus in the form of some really old and dried out PMC that up until now I had no use for! It was fine silver, so I processed some of it into cloisonne wire as silver prices rise š my goal is to process all of it so I have a nice stockpile of wire for future projects! I have a lot of strips left over from the ingots shown in the video - I think I only used about half of one!! Also, I am not an expert on this (making ingots, wire etc) so if you are and you have advice please let me know hahaha
I also picked this song because it came on while I was working and it reminds me of the first couple weeks I was at Arrowmont when @_k.re.ate_ would sing it at karaoke! As my time at @arrowmont_school comes to a close in less than two months and the weather gets warmer again I am feeling sentimental šā¤ļøš·

Here is the class description:
Learn to translate your drawings into enamel! Opaque enamels will form our base for layering wetpacked enamel, lusters, overglazes and watercolor enamels to create complex imagery. We will discuss drawing and illustration, then how to translate these drawings into our enamel work for application on copper. Basic metalsmithing knowledge will be helpful but the focus of this class is on enameling!

Iāve been seeing lots of chipmunks recently and it breaks my heart how skittish they are, but it also makes me laugh how dramatically they scamper away when they hear you coming. Now that there are lots of crunchy leaves on the ground, they are capable of producing quite a bit of noise when running through the woods.
