MAYBE THE NIGHT unfolds through verse and image, documenting the day to day realities, intimate reflections, and a perspective on Gaza rarely seen.

The reading is participatory, the book will move through the room, inviting voices from the audience. The poems will be shared together, guided gently through reflections.
Free entry. The book can be purchased on the spot!
Live music will follow the reading, with oud weaving into the closing moments, accompanied by visuals and sound.

Perhaps you already know that this book has an older sibling. Perhaps you have it at home and have read it. Perhaps more than once. If you have, then you may already know that Jehad and Moayed have a style like no other. Perhaps you have grown to love Jehad and Moayed, and perhaps you have already asked me how they are doing in this long, dark night imposed on Gaza. Maybe this has been one of the reasons this little sibling-book was born. To answer that question. To search for cracks in the threatening wall that keeps us apart. We never wanted to be kept apart. And perhaps this is our small mockery of fate. For once, it is not the other way around.
