I’m woefully late in posting here, but I want to say aloud what an incredible experience it was having Crown shortlisted for the @bookcritics John Leonard Prize, and what a fabulous time I had in NYC, and what fun to read and share space with such esteemed company. Last pic: Crown comes out in paperback soon! And here she is with her fancy new hot-off-press sticker in the office of @eschmitzlucas , who was such a generous host, as well as Deb, Marie, and actually simply everyone @groveatlantic and @bookcritics . Beautiful conversation with Mitzi and Nini back in June, in Beacon Hall, in front of a live audience at Lighthouse. First Draft is one of my very favorite podcasts, and to now be in the company of so many of my mentors is an honor.
