Celebrating the life and legacy of Toni Pierce-Sands ♥️ This week, @evidencedance has paid homage to two women who have significantly impacted Brown and his work—Wunmi Olaiya and Toni Pierce-Sands. Toni Pierce-Sands co-founded @tudance in Minnesota and is renowned for her illustrious dance career and overall contributions to the arts. Both programs feature CLEAR AS TEAR WATER, a solo created for Sands in 2006, where guest artists—including EVIDENCE alumni, TU dancers, and other artists close to Sands—honor and celebrate her with this meditation on love.
