Another one of my favorite scans from my trip to Cape Disappointment earlier this year. This spot wasn't at all on my radar. I was headed to a trail when I saw it right off the side of the road. Since I was there to take photos, I figured I better pull off and snap some.

From a recent trip (April '25) to Cape Disappointment. Was hanging out on the beach with a roll of expired film shooting in the opposite direction of these birds. I heard them start to fly, turned around, and just started firing off photos without even looking thru the viewfinder. Can't believe how lucky I got with this shot. It's probably my favorite in a while.

Every year, bald eagles migrate thru the Columbia River Gorge around this time. They all seem to convene right near the dam in The Dalles - probably becuase it's easy to find a meal there. Deanna and I went to watch and I did some documenting. Here's 5 minutes of eagles soaring. You'll enjoy this.
