We are proud to present a collaborative lunch event between our own senior CDP @waiaaron_ and @cali_by_miguel on the 29th of June at 2pm. They both met at the esteem Umu restaurant and have shared a common progressive interest in Japanese and Latin American cuisine based on their culture and heritage. Bookings are open and we hope to see you all as we know what an amazing event it would be. £90 pp (service charge already included) Come join us before we go on our summer break in July!!

刺身: our ever changing sashimi, using the best local day boat fish from @hendersonseafood @kernowsashimi @theseathesea_ !! Utilising various techniques of aging, curing and marinating to achieve the best results! Whilst we do not offer a great amount of choices, you can be sure that it would be peak quality on those we do!! 📸@thebarflysalon

Kamo Donabe, Wakame Relish, Ajitama Tea smoked duck breast along with beer pickled daikon and shoyu cured egg. All sat on top koshihikari rice mixed with seaweed relish. Working with some of the finest local whole ducks (Barbary, Irish Silverhill and Creedy Carvers) from @hgwalter 📸@thebarflysalon

Our take on takoyaki! A bit of the classic and a bit of akashiyaki! Topped with our own carrot kosho, hojicha cooked octopus, lardo and cucumber sunomono! Might scald a little bit but it'll be worth it! 📸@thebarflysalon
