I so vividly remember learning how to letterpress. the frustration of seemingly endless manual adjustments, followed by the proud satisfaction of pulling a perfect print. that first year, something went wrong every single session on the press, but I learned to love the process. there was no force quit or reset button, so I had to tinker my way to an even impression, perfect inking, and square registration.
now in year eight, printing is my flow state. time passes at an incomprehensible speed. the adjustments feel intuitive, the sound rhythmic, and I fall more in love with the results every time.

E+I had intentionality at the core of their wedding planning philosophy. They invited all their guests to stay in the same villa in the Tuscan countryside, which created a relaxed and communal environment. Events were curated to spark conversation and meaningful connection. We designed their invitations with that same approach - leading with thoughtfulness, a casual refinement, and details to remember.
for this wedding in the swiss alps, the use of leather and wood, gold hardware, and deep green tones helped the paper goods feel right at home while thoughtfully designed details, like a hand-painted cocktail sign named after the bride's artistic grandmother, a jasmine flower icon that alluded to the lace on the bride's dress, and letterpress printed patterns added touches that were unmistakably personal.
