Want to see one of the most unique ceremonies I’ve photographed?
Sheba and Kyle’s spring wedding at The Black Bass was filled with beautiful traditions, thoughtful details, and so much joy from start to finish.
Their ceremony included a Persian tradition called the Sofreh Aghd, a ceremonial spread filled with symbolic items representing love, prosperity, sweetness, and a joyful future together. Every piece on the table has meaning. Sheba actually designed and created the entire spread herself, which made it even more special. You could feel how much care and intention went into every detail.
Right as the ceremony began along the Delaware River, the rain started to fall. Instead of taking away from the moment, it somehow made everything feel even more romantic. The misty river views, the sound of the rain, and Sheba and Kyle together surrounded by family created such a beautiful and intimate moment.
This wedding was such a beautiful mix of culture, emotion, and celebration. One of those days that reminds me why spring weddings are so special.
