Join teaching artist @zoey.makes.things for a cross stitch workshop and work with LAB staff to help contribute to our cyanotype community flag series! We invite all participants to make a block print to adorn the cyanotypes and view the first group of flags pieced together from past events!
The making of Social Fabric Souvenirs by Jessica Eldredge for Radical Americana is coming to Glen Foerd this spring.

Eldredge looked at how souvenirs preserve personal memory while quietly reflecting the values, hopes, and tensions of their time. Her work combines embroidery and screen-printing to represent our "social fabric" as the gridded map that has held generations of people, stories, and contradictions within its lines.
