In ‘Sorry, Baby,’ @evavictor casts trauma recovery as a fragmented, unsensational, and, sometimes, strangely funny journey.
The film, their directorial debut, launched Victor from short-form Twitter comedy to the stages of Cannes and the Golden Globes, with ‘Sorry, Baby’ garnering accolades all year.
Now, after surviving the gauntlet of test screenings and press junkets, Victor is facing a new kind of aftermath. They called up with @halinareijn , director of ‘Babygirl’ and ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ to get to the heart of a creative quandary: When you’ve plumbed the darkest sides of your psyche and laid it bare for all to see, how do you know when you’re ready to do it all over again?
