I haven’t made a cinematography reel in years! I kept on telling myself I was too busy to make one. But the truth is, how can you compress years of blood, sweat, and tears into a single edit?
Still, I tried. 😮💨
This reel holds my heart ❤️🥺 Thank you to every director, production staff and crew who trusted me to light the way. Here’s to creating more magic together! 🪄✨

🤍 LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!
Carving my way into this industry wasn’t entirely a walk in the park. I had to fight tooth and nail just to be heard. I had to literally learn to raise my voice just so the lighting crew would listen to me. At that point in time, (2014-2017) the diversity in our department was getting better, more female cinematographers are being given the chance to take up space in the industry. But at the end of the day, I was still young and hearing a girl asking for a 10k tungsten to be mounted on a maxi stand wasn’t an everyday occurrence. So they always had to verify my instructions first with my male co-workers. Might sound funny to some but we all have our own frustrations. Unsurprisingly, it still happens once in a while, but GIRLS.. we have come a loooong way!
I learned that you need to build a commanding presence in this very macho industry. You must take up the space that’s been given to you. And when you’re there, you dictate what kind of energy that you want. Be kind, but don’t be a push over.
Celebrating just some of the talented female directors and cinematographers with whom I had the pleasure to collaborate through the years! 💖
