Charm Offensive 💓 My piece for Yardworks Festival 2026 @yardworksglasgow Charm offensive explores waveform structure through the language of club systems where pressure, repetition and distortion shape both sound and space. 🔉 Fragments of signal move across the wall like a baseline under compression, shifting between control and collapse. The pink operates as an active frequency, a seductive pull cutting through a rigid, industrial framework of greys and blacks. Rooted in late-night environments the work reflects the tension between attraction and intensity, the moment a sound draws you in, then overwhelms you. Theres a parallel here with how bass especially in dubstep interacts with the body and mind. Certain frequencies don’t just get heard, they get felt. They hit something deeper triggering emotional shifts you can’t even explain. Like a drop switching patterns , the energy flips pulling you in for a second., destabilising you the next. 🤯 This is when frequency becomes feeling. That same push pull sits in this piece. Proud to say I’m painting @yardworksglasgow Festival at @swg3glasgow on the 2nd and 3rd of May. 💪🙏 Seeing my name in a lineup like this genuinely means a lot. There’s artists on here I’ve watched for decades, taken inspiration from, and learned from just by observing their work… so to now be painting alongside them at Yardworks is something I don’t take lightly. I’m honestly really humbled by the opportunity. It’s been a journey getting to this point, figuring out my style, pushing through self-doubt, and turning something that felt internal into something real. Finding a way to express that through my work hasn’t always been easy, but it’s what’s kept me going. To now bring my style into a space like this, surrounded by people who are pushing things forward and the culture, feels special. Grateful to be part of it, grateful for everyone who’s supported me along the way, and just looking forward to getting on the wall and giving it everything. Group Show for @yardworksglasgow at @edelweissglasgow 🎨🫟🕺🪩 First time bringing the 3AM system series into a space like this and I won’t lie, it meant a lot. 👊 Seeing people come through, take time with the work, connect with it, and genuinely show love… that’s something I don’t take for granted. The conversations, the support, the energy in the room, it all stayed with me. 🙏 To sell a piece at my first show makes it even more real. Not just putting work on a wall, but knowing it actually resonates with people. ❤️ The 3AM system series is built on sound and genre. Dubstep, Acid House, Techno, Electro, Ambient. Jungle, Grime, Drum and Bass, the music I adore, Low frequencies, distortion, repetition. Taking those moments and turning them into something physical you can stand in front of and feel. 🪩🕺 Grateful to be surrounded by such talented artists, all pushing their own styles and directions. The 3AM System Series 1/4 💊🪩🎶💦 That point in the night where everything starts to breakdown. The dance floor is messy, sweat, movement and sound bleed into itself. Bass still rolling but nothing feels clean anymore. Structure fades, energy spills over and bodes moving on instinct.
