I was honoured to be invited back by @naestvedkunstby to Næstved to paint a gable end mural, a place I’ve grown to love since painting there at two events over the past few years, there is something magic about the jams, from the build by the people from JB10, the youth workers, artists and the enthusiastic members of the public. It seems everyone knows about the history of painting there and incredible murals that have been created there by so many inspiring writers and artists. I was super happy to be given the opportunity to add to the mural numbers with something permanent. I wasn’t sure of the crop of the final design choice, but it worked really well as you walked toward the wall in the street, with the character peeking out over the opposing building. As ever it was great to chat with the residents and visit the favourite @ausfahrt_coffee_shop for the daily caffeine boost with @_cmp_one_ and @swet71 - Big thanks to Swet for all the help in organising all the logistics and making the week run so smoothly and CMP for all the support 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Another amazing time in Næstved! 🎉🙏🏼

Our sesh at the @edinintmuralfest ‘Paper Jam’, good to see so many styles and artists getting down in the warehouse. Props to @trench.one and family for organising such a good event. @solermsc @stylesprayer and myself were lucky to get a small room with good lighting so we’re able to paint the full 360. Built from bold, broken geometric forms and layered colour this represents movement, rhythm, and persistence. It’s energy in motion, pushing forward through the noise. @elphone brings balance: calm, awareness, and emotion, a human presence that grounds the chaos. This was my painting at the Næstved Kunstby 2025 / Næverland 25 festival. My second time in Næstved, a super mellow town filled with a history of incredible mural painting and a long reaching graffiti past. (Swipe along for more details) Thanks to @swet71 and @_cmp_one_ for the invite once again, I really enjoyed the time there and took back more treasured memories of the trip. It was also really cool to see the work that the Næverland young people in building the site, totally transforming the street and their youth centre into a concert venue that looked like a Subway Station with a train running round the top and some NY storefront facades at the entrance. A while back, my old friend @theartistgwf asked me to create a short looping animation for a project he was starting, using screens to display short clips or artwork on screens in shops. Originally Grant helped me set up my website nearly 25 years ago now so it was good to work on something together again. Grant also asked to and create a giclée print of a still from the animation, and I ended up redrawing it then adding digital colouring. Wall part of the ‘Trust the Process’ exhibition with @trenchone at @yardlifegallery it was a experimental sketchbook style. I felt it really worked together mixing our work on this one. We also worked in the gallery on around 40 interactive Augmented Reality pieces and Trench added some extra tech, lighting and projection to really finish it off. Cheers to @michaelam.art @theguzler @jpeg.dp @froodiezoan and @gazmacswg3 for getting us through, can't believe it's been a year and I hadn't posted it.
