Dance is my life — and a few years years ago I added real estate agent to the mix (@prewar_Eva ). From the beginning, I’ve been trying to do this in my own way, and I’m grateful to @nymag for writing this story about how and why. I’m always running from class, to showings, to rehearsal, to negotiating on the phone… and this dichotomy literally keeps me on my toes. I constantly struggle with thoughts around if this makes me somehow less legitimate as an artist. I don’t know the answer. A huge part of being a dancer is resourcefulness and resiliency. Removing the pressure of needing to live off of dance makes it all about the joy and creativity. I love what I’m doing and want to keep doing it. 🤍

2025 was my favorite year as a dancer yet. I feel I was able to shed an old skin and emerge as something new. Thankful for all the teachers and opportunities. Was a joy + a gift to explore this solo from Pina bausch’s “como el musguito en la piedra, ay si, si, si” which translates to Like Moss on the Stone, coached by the wonderful @stephtroyak who danced this part.
