Object 6 of my 'Museum of Me' series, a rainbow lobster charm that can be used as a keychain, necklace or any hanging accessory.
Each section on this articulated piece was cut, formed and enamelled. A key feature is its colourful design, partially due to my penchant for bright, vivid colours but also as a not-so-subtle nod to my queer identity. The pieces are joined using jump rings for movement and flexibility and the lobster motif was brought back as a reference to my love for food and family.

Object 5 of my 'Museum of Me' series, an object turned necklace inspired by the memories of my family.
This piece features a bold lobster - an old Christmas dinner staple - filled with gold, red and jade standing out from the piece and the words LEGENDA-ๆ (the Chinese character for Ly - my family surname) brazenly cut underneath. From the corners dangle charms featuring inscriptions of things like a bowl of rice, a hand holding a pair of chopsticks and a bubble waffle pancake, a popular Hong Kong street food.
Techniques of lost wax casting, vitreous enamelling and soldering were used in the making.

Object 4 of my 'Museum of Me' series, a keychain slash brooch pin inspired by the video game character Argenti from Honkai: Star Rail.
This piece started by forming a sheet of copper and adding a hammered texture to the surface, then adding more enamelled layered flowers, attached loosely so they can spin for some interactive movement. After setting a glittery orange sunstone to the piece and adding a keychain attachment made from brass wire, this multifunctional jewellery piece is versatile and unique.
