I realised it’s pretty rude of me to start posting without an introduction. So hi~ I’m Ellie.
I’m a video production manager, who is also always eager to get hands on with helping the art department.
I often jump on board as an AD, Art Assistant and BTS photographer whenever needed on set. And favour working in pre-production, I work closely in Development, helping breakdown scripts and use my Film Sales studies to plan marketing strategies.
Just this year I’ve produced sets: working with children and the MET police film unit, external locations, specialised equipment and set-construction.
I don’t limit myself just to film productions - working on commercials, documentaries, virtual productions and music videos.
There’s plenty more you’ll be seeing of me this year and i’m excited to share it and I hope you all are too.
Best,
ETM creative
Two sets within a week and a 2 day turn around
the planning and organisation going into this was insane - but a massive achievement for our production designers
production design really teaches you not to get too attached to your work - taking down the set you worked so hard to build is possibly the hardest part of the production.
much love

the editing process…
safe to say it’s probably the most tedious part of the production. But it’s great to work with an editor who knows that they’re doing, i love learning all tips and tricks along the way.
you know it hard when you’re editing at midnight from your tv screen at home. Props to @tomcooksey_film and the other editors out there!
short-film coming soon

working in the art department is a whole load of fun when you’ve got the right people with you

Had lots of fun art assisting on this shoot, we really did all we can to reuse and up-cycle or items from all the shoots happening at our Uni these last few months.
BACK TO BLACK
Sometimes simple is the way to go. It was good to play with contrast and working on this scene really helped each of the other scenes concepts pop!
I got to focus more on makeup and costume stylisation, and how I could I make it visually interesting with a very limited colour pallet, taking an an interest in textures and silhouettes.
BLUE
Probably one of my first little victory moments seeing this set come to life. I had worked so hard on the conceptualisation on this scene that seeing it translate from sketch, to set-construction and finally on screen was incredible.
thought a little photoshoot may be in order as we’re jumping into the real life film industry
check out the new headshots ☆ - can’t say the modelling stayed serious for long
thank you @ikejpeg for being our photographer
