Dance is more than steps and rhythm — it’s connection, expression, and energy that flows beyond words. It lifts our mood, strengthens our bodies, and brings people together across cultures, borders, and languages. Turn up your music, move your body, and celebrate the universal language that unites us all. #internationaldanceday #movetogether #feeltherhythm

Etian Almeida in his element. An established dancer with movement in his bloodstream and style stitched into every step. From sharp lines to effortless flow, Etian doesn’t just follow trends — he defines them. A true fashionista with a visionary edge, blending rhythm, texture, and attitude into every frame. Creative. Fearless. Unapologetically original. This series captures more than images — it captures presence. 🔥

Sneak peak from a private viewing of this year’s Orchid Festival at @kewgardens HUGE thanks to @giardini_antonetti for facilitating this and sharing so much with us about this incredible plant. This year is dedicated to China, and as someone who has always felt a ‘special relationship’ with orchids, it was breathtaking! I’ve learned about the traditions in Yunnan Province-like how the Bai people paint orchids on their doors to welcome the New Year. One side a painting, the other a poem; a perfect blessing for the Year of the Horse. They really are the ultimate bridge between tradition and the living world. Go and visit if you can! #kew #kewgardenslondon #exhibition #orchids #orchidsfestival

What do you do when your dog grows old? When his feet are tired and the pads are worn? When your words of praise are muffled in his ears, and his eyes are milky from their years of use? When his face is grizzled and his color isn’t as vibrant? You love him. You rub the feet that dutifully carried him by your side. You speak your praises more loudly, so everybody else can hear the words that he can’t. You guide him the way he has guided you, and prevent him from getting lost as you were before he came along. You kiss his muzzle and admire the wisdom that has beset him in his later years. And when it comes time to put him to his final rest, knowing that an irreplaceable part of your heart will follow him, you will do so knowing that you loved him. And he loved you more. It’s tough watching his abilities fading with age, but our hearts are so full of gratitude for every moment of this journey. The unconditional love and steadfast companionship he gives us are priceless. As this little fella rolls toward his 13th birthday, he remains the absolute joy of our lives. #alfie #agingdogs #gettingold #olddoggo #doggie #lovepet #love #lifeofpets #dogowners

LA CHAMPOLA DE GUANÁBANA (Soursop) Biographers of the famous poet, playwright, and martyr of the Spanish Republic, Federico García Lorca, recount that during his visit to Cuba in the spring of 1930, while at the “El Anón de Virtudes” café in Havana, he yielded to the pleasure of a soursop (guanábana) champola. It’s said that upon tasting it, he exclaimed: “...there is no soft drink in the whole world with a more euphonic, musical, and high-sounding name, nor one that tastes better.” The Annonaceae family is widespread throughout the Caribbean. This includes the sugar-apple (Annona squamosa), the soursop (Annona muricata), and the chirimoya (Annona cherimola). The delicious cold drink known as champola can be made with almost any tropical fruit, but soursop is the most highly prized for this preparation. There isn’t one definitive recipe for champola. Though some people insist on using water, the most common recipes call for milk—evaporated, powdered, liquid, or condensed—to be blended with the fruit pulp, sugar to taste, and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor. I hold memories of many Saturday nights when, just before the only two movies on Channel 6, my family would share a generous glass of frozen champola made from the soursops from the tree my grandmother grew in her backyard, the sweetest and tastiest of the whole entire neighbourhood. In September of 2002 the mighty winds of hurricane Isidore blew down the tree. For safety we never grew soursops in my grandmother’s backyard again and with the storm, the cherished nights of champola vanished along with the hurricane winds. #guanabana #champola #soursop #jugostropicales #tradition #memories #cuba #isidore #sandino #lalupe #lorca
