Our teammate Silvia Herranz (URSA by Etex) recently delivered a lecture to the Master’s students in Circular Engineering at Universidad Carlos III of Madrid.
She shared insights on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a method used to understand the environmental impact of materials throughout their life cycle, and on circularity. Her session showed how these approaches help create more sustainable solutions for the building sector. ♻️

About the true power of solidarity 🧡
A cable fire badly damaged a parish and community center in Jurbarkas, Lithuania. The priest’s home and community rooms were destroyed. Thankfully, everyone was safe.
Because Jurbarkas has been officially twinned with Crailsheim in Germany for many years, citizens and local organisations in Crailsheim stepped in to help. 💪
And so did we: we donated building materials to support the reconstruction! 🙌

Last year, our South Africa teammates celebrated National Recycling Day in the best way possible — by supporting a school in need. ♻️
Together with Alston Primary School SA (Germiston), they helped bring recycling to more than 1,400 students who previously had no stations or waste‑management resources.
Here’s what the team made happen:

Last week in Semarang, Indonesia, the new SMK Setiabudhi Green School for 330 students was built in collaboration with Colruyt Group
Foundation and using sustainable materials from our brands Eter and Kalsi. 🌱

Our @ursainsulation site in Desselgem installed 5,708 solar panels across 12,000 m² of rooftop space – generating 2,350 MWh of clean energy every year ⚡ That’s enough to power 600+ homes and cut 846 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually!
Big thanks to Per Petum Energy (Green4Power group) for partnering with us on this project through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). After 20 years, these panels will be ours – but the positive impact starts now.

👩🏭 First-year carpentry and joinery apprentices are:
