Maria Paskevic is a Lithuanian composer whose music spans various genres. She has been composing music for theatre and contemporary dance, producing electronic club music, performing live and as a DJ.
Maria has been composing music for theatre and contemporary dance, as well as producing electronic music and playing live. Her most acclaimed piece to date is the electroacoustic score for the ballet Days, Minutes, which premiered at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and earned her the prestigious Golden Cross of the Stage award.
In the Lithuanian club scene, Maria is celebrated for her high-energy and unpredictable sets, blending techno, trance, and everything in between. Her DJing style is characterised by an adventurous spirit and a fusion of sonic influences. She treats her mixes with a composer’s mindset: melodies blend, elements return like leitmotifs, and the result is a polystylistic yet unified piece.
Currently, Maria Paskevic is a resident DJ at Elastica and Auditorija, where she also runs the party series Attention!.
