The EST/Sloan Project presents a FIRST LIGHT reading of The Forester by P.C. Verrone 🌲✨️
A surreal, theatrical journey through the life and legacy of ground-breaking African American forester Dr. Carroll B. Williams, Jr. From the woods of Oregon to the halls of Yale, the play explores Williams’s decades-long fight to unite his Black and Indigenous worldview with his scientific work to preserve America’s pine forests.
May 21st @ 3pm. Tickets are free but RSVP recommended.
