After an incredible journey around Australia, Pilot Rose is returning to #EssendonFieldsAirport this Saturday to complete her Guinness World Record attempt as the youngest pilot to fly solo around Australia in a general aviation aircraft.
Join us from 11am at the Essendon Fields Airport Terminal to help welcome Rose home, with light refreshments courtesy of @lamannamelbourne before her anticipated arrival at approximately 12pm.
Itâs set to be a very special moment celebrating determination, aviation + inspiring the next generation to dream big.

After more than 11 years servicing King Island from Melbourne, @sharpairlines has made the difficult decision to suspend its regular passenger flights between #EssendonFieldsAirport + King Island, effective 2 May 2026.
Sharp Airlines and Essendon Fields Airport are immensely grateful to passengers that utilised these services, local partners, businesses, and the King Island community for their loyalty + trust over the years.
