I wrote ‘Can We All Slow Down’ about the pressure of constantly being perceived. It was the first song I’d ever written with @jayflew_ and has become one of our favourites. Every line describes exactly how I feel. We live in an age where we’re always looking at screens, with endless information at our fingertips. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be overwhelming.
I often feel like I’m not real, like I’m living in a digital server and just playing a role online. I don’t know if anyone else feels like this at times but I find my phone to be my biggest distraction and I long to be in a little fairy cottage far away from a digital world where everything is slower and no one is watching🧚🏽🐌✨

I long for a time where life moved slower and I noticed small things and I was curious about the physical world around me. I long for the version of me that would play outside for hours with nothing but my imagination but maybe I’m just grieving childhood as I move into adulthood.
