BOOK PRESENTATION
with Miriam Stoney
@klosterruine.berlin
Emerging from last year’s program at Klosterruine, “Minor Histories” is both a document of a specific program and an open-ended inquiry into the ways art engages with social and historical contexts.
Just before Berlin Art Week begins, Miriam and I (& maybe some special guests) will present the book through short readings, music, and a specially prepared drink: bitter sweet!
Of course, copies of the publication will also be available at a special price.
I would love for you to join us for this casual gathering – and be so glad to see you during my brief visit to the city!

Published by Ness Books and designed by Sophie Rentien Lando, “Minor Histories” presents a conceptual documentation of the interventions and performances that were presented at Klosterruine last year, accompanied by literary excerpts and facsimiles that position the performances within broader historical and poetic lineages.
Situated within the architectural and historical context of the 13th-century monastery ruins, the publication brings together contemporary artistic practices—spanning performance, sculpture, poetry, and sound—to examine how histories are constructed, remembered, and reimagined.
