*Find our new titles at Offprint Paris* “Freedom” is a reader compiling a selection of three texts by Brian A. Dominick, Ursula K. Le Guin and Élisée Reclus. Gathered over the past years, they question food habits through the lens of animal liberation. / Price on donation from 6€, all profits go to L214 or TheAnarchistLibrary.org “The Grubbag – an underground cookbook” by Ita Jones. First published in 1971 and reproduced today in very limited editions. / 12€ Through performance, sculpture, poetry, and sound, “Minor Histories” reflects on overlooked histories, what is preserved, what is overwritten, and whose stories are told. Alongside newly commissioned texts, it includes reprints of key historical and literary works that span centuries, ranging from medieval mystical writings to contemporary stories. / 12€ *Restocks* “Country Lesbians, The Story of the WomanShare Collective” a facsimile of the iconic book published by WomanShare Books in 1976. Co-authored by five lesbian women who settled in a self-contained community in Southern Oregon in the 1970s: Sue Deevy, Billie Miracle, Nelly Kaufer, Carol Newhouse and Dian Wagner. In the summer of 1973, they sought to escape the masculine and patriarchal culture of the big city. Then bought their land and founded WomanShare, a separatist community where they lived, built, farmed and wrote independently. / 20€ “The Ten Week Garden”, a facsimile of a 1973 Something Else Press gardening book. / 15€ We look forward to seeing you there! And on a more recessional note: our oldest publications will be available at a reduced price, allowing us to distribute our publications wider and finally make some room in the studio. Wednesday, September 10, 5pm! BOOK PRESENTATION with Miriam Stoney @klosterruine.berlin Emerging from last year’s program at Klosterruine, “Minor Histories” is both a document of a specific program and an open-ended inquiry into the ways art engages with social and historical contexts. Just before Berlin Art Week begins, Miriam and I (& maybe some special guests) will present the book through short readings, music, and a specially prepared drink: bitter sweet! Of course, copies of the publication will also be available at a special price. I would love for you to join us for this casual gathering – and be so glad to see you during my brief visit to the city! —— Published by Ness Books and designed by Sophie Rentien Lando, “Minor Histories” presents a conceptual documentation of the interventions and performances that were presented at Klosterruine last year, accompanied by literary excerpts and facsimiles that position the performances within broader historical and poetic lineages. Situated within the architectural and historical context of the 13th-century monastery ruins, the publication brings together contemporary artistic practices—spanning performance, sculpture, poetry, and sound—to examine how histories are constructed, remembered, and reimagined. Thank you again to Bryana Fritz, Stefa Govaart & Chloe Chignell, Mira Mann, Domi Chansorn, Carmen Gheorghe & Elisa R. Linn, Logan February, Moshtari Hilal, Nazanin Noori, Tanasgol Sabbagh, Fabian Saul, Ralph Tharayil & Mathias Zeiske, Leyla Yenirce, Enis Maci, Mazlum Nergiz, Noah Jinu-Moerbeck & Theresa George, Mikołaj Sobczak, Caleb Salgado, Adam Russell Jones, Mira Thompson & Sara F. Tompkins, and many others.

Annnnd we have finally managed to update Ness Books’ website for a less diy, though more complete experience of our catalog. No need to call us or send e-mails to buy our books anymore, Sophie coded a beauty webshop, and there’s also an inventory. Some will say less cosy, but hey probably smoother. For a more humanoïde experience, you can still pick up the books in our atelier or find us soon at Offprint! We’re always so happy to see our books travel around to your homes. espaceness.com/books

Sharing a small Riso addition I prepared for a (fantastic) catalogue project that has kept me and Julie busy over the last few months. The publications will be printed at Grafiche Veneziane in just a few days and I won’t lie, we’re feeling ecstatic about this. Catalogue conceived at the occasion of the exhibition “Eleanor Antin: A Retrospective”, which will open on 26.09.2025 at Mudam Luxembourg. This will be the first (!!) retrospective of the artist in Europe to date. The exhibition presents her enduring as well as lesser-known works, along with archival material, with the aim of linking her extensive and multi-faceted practice to discourses of the present day. The catalogue is planned as a rich volume, including 9 texts and essays, a large number of plates, an index of Eleanor Antin’s entire body of work, and a comprehensive exhibition history and bibliography. Co-published by Mudam Luxembourg — Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean, Hatje Cantz, MOCAK The Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków and Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein I’ll be sharing more images and infos about this project after the summer. Meanwhile here’s an (admittedly odd) attempt at representing some of her most iconic works using emojis: 💯👢👢🧔🏻‍♀️👑🐚💀🗡️🎱🗽🚺💋🥼🩺🩰🎞️💅🏻
