Monday afrernoon in Lifeways Garden once again, the time passes by so quickly. It was good to see you all, and thank you for your help in the garden.
We were weeding the strawberries, Keith showed us how he wrapped seeds in a piece of a compost bag,with a little soil to grow seeds.
We have strawberries growing, onions, potatoes, and cabbage! We even started to decorate ymour Nourish & Flourish journal.

Monday Arts and Heritage Hub continued with the BIG build of the Swan from @stratfordpursuits ! Community feathers have been designed and will be added to the swans body during the week! Everyone's ideas are so varied and each has a message or Stratford memory written underneath!
We’re looking for a volunteer to support our Saturday Social Brew at Escape Arts & Heritage Centre.
Social Brew is our weekly relaxed community café and heritage event, where visitors can explore exhibitions, take part in creative activities, and share local stories and memories as part of The People’s Archive of Stratford-upon-Avon.
We’re currently looking for someone who can spare around one hour on Saturday afternoons to help with pack-down at the end of the event, including collecting signage, tidying materials, and helping leave the space welcoming for the week ahead.
Location: Escape Arts & Heritage Centre, The Yard, Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6EE
Time: Saturdays, 4–5pm

At Pursuits Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Jonny Nicholds, our resident artist created a swan for all participants visiting the Escape Arts tent to make a feather. Each participant added a wish to the back of their feather. Jonny also asked us at Stratford Escape to create feathers, well done everyone they look amazing 🙏👏👏

Volunteers wanted for a brand new community project: Threads Through Menopause! ✨
We’re teaming up with Menopause Knowledge @menopause_knowledge and Warwickshire Libraries’ County Record Office @warwickshirecountyrecordoffice@warwickshire_libraries to explore the past and present experiences of menopause through stories, research and creativity, and we’d love you to be part of it.
There are lots of ways to get involved:
🧵 Help uncover local history and research how Warwickshire women were treated in the past.
💬 Share your own experiences, reflections or things you wish you’d known.
🎨 Contribute to a collaborative textile artwork inspired by menopause stories
Whether you have lived experience, an interest in local heritage or simply want to connect with others, everyone is welcome.
