This was captured in the earliest days of gimbal technology integration with large cinema camera payloads. We’d often get inquisitive looks from other crew while operating — at the time, they were not accustomed to seeing handheld operators running around stage.
.
Gimbals are not Steadicams, they do little to dampen the translational, up and down movements generated from walking and for the greatest framing precision they may require a remote operator controlling pan/tilt/roll axes. However, competent operators combined with feature sets like Majestic/follow mode and the eventual development of support gear like @readyrig have cemented the gimbal’s creative value. These systems have proven their usefulness, and cost-effectiveness, where camera movement and stabilization can add to a production.

My system of choice is routinely the @freeflysystems MōVI for its lightweight, yet robust build quality. This was captured using the M10. Now my @anteradrones team flies the MōVI Pro in both terrestrial and aerial applications.
LONERS

My first feature-length film is a political satire revolving around government overreach, privacy invasions, and a registration program run amok. When potential dissidents — Loners — are identified, they are corralled and forced to participate in a 12-step re-education program aimed at socializing them. Transcranial direct current stimulation is used to ensure adherence to their new, always happy and friend-filled lives. This is their story.*

*Although the narrative may appear to be a direct comment on our current administration, any similarities are truly a complete coincidence. We started this project long before the current cabinet became a reality, and that fact provides ample proof that reality is indeed stranger than fiction.
