They shape how you see the world and what you feel responsible for saying. This exhibition is my response. What began as a reflection on power, language, and accountability evolved into something larger. It is an exploration of performance culture through one of the most misunderstood spaces, strip clubs. A place where power, vulnerability, autonomy, and perception collide. This work challenges stigma while holding space for reflection. It acknowledges tension, perspective, and the responsibility that comes with telling stories that are not entirely our own. Earlier in the year I was fortunate to work on a project with Glenn Kaino Studio for the new Clippers Intuit Dome (LA). First 2 slides are my illustration color options and third is video of the final product.
