Visual identity design for Rooting Life Care Development Center.
Inspired by roots, fruits, growth rings, and everyday moments, we developed a visual system around the idea of “rooting” — connection, companionship, and growth through different stages of life.
The colors come from light, grass, trees, and soil, creating a softer and calmer atmosphere close to daily life.
Through gentle graphics, breathing space, and quiet compositions, we hoped the system could feel less like communication, and more like companionship.

The visual identity of 反身 RF originates from our observation of everyday experience.
In reality, thoughts influence actions, actions alter our state, and those changes in turn reshape judgment. Many things do not occur in a single moment, but emerge through continuous adjustment and return.
Based on this understanding, 反身 (reflexivity) becomes the starting point of the entire visual system.
The 反身 RF logo is composed solely of the Chinese characters “反身” and the letters “RF.” It is formed by a set of lines that move forward while constantly changing direction—more like a path in motion than a fixed symbol. The logo does not seek a sense of completion; instead, it preserves change and uncertainty, expressing how thinking is continuously revised through action.
The visual extension system developed around the logo continues this linear language. Through repetition, enlargement, fragmentation, and recomposition, the graphics create a unified yet fluid visual state across different media and scales.
The color system is limited to red and blue, used to distinguish structure, emphasize direction, and organize information. This restrained palette keeps the overall visual expression controlled, while allowing variations to remain clear and legible.
The visual identity of 反身 RF does not attempt to provide answers. It functions more as an ongoing process—understood through use, and remaining open through change.

Time flows, objects endure; memories take root.
This series of posters serves as the call for entries for the ”Winter Solstice Hangzhou
Stories“ exhibition at the Rooted Memories Museum. Through gentle color palettes, the fading essence of old photographs, and scattered text with deliberate blank spaces, they evoke a mottled texture of memory, inviting all to reminisce together about those countless chronicles of time.

The film tells the story of a young painter, Zhou Jiawei, who is exploited by a profit-driven art dealer to forge paintings by the fictional European deconstructionist artist "Lainka," passing off counterfeits as genuine. It is not only an allegory about art forgery and identity, but also a profound inquiry into the origin of creativity and the true value of art.

Pic.1: The silhouettes of the two protagonists and a cat appear together on the movie poster. Painting techniques and a burning/glitch encoding effect metaphorically reflect the film’s core themes. The intense contrast between blue and red conveys the emotional depth of the story. A visual rhythmic aesthetic is constructed through the combination of overall simplicity and intricate details.

Pic.2: A photograph, in the process of burning, retells the narrative once more.

Simply Satie. In a rural villa by the Dead Sea, the afternoon sun floods the room. Sprawled in pure serenity, shadows stretch like dying tears.
