Keretes szerkezetű metametál a csendes elmélyülés jegyében. A JazzaJ márciusi ZZZ kurátora, Horváth Áron cimbalomművész váratlan húzással indította hónapját: a death metal (és gyermekkori kedvence, a Grotesque Dismemberment) iránti rajongását szabadzenei keretek között idézte fel, megtartva annak zsigeri erejét, sebességét és hangulatát, a torzított gitárokat cimbalomra, a grindcore-os hörgést pedig sikító szaxofonra cserélve. A két felvonásban mennydörgő blast beatek és lehangolt bőgőgroove-ok sötét fellegei közé egy dekonstruált népzenei kísérlet, a Darázs-Gyárfás-Udvardi trió gardoncentrikus előadása hozott enyhülést, mint első márciusi napsugarak a Csíki-havasok ormain.

Story:
On the afternoon of 08/02/2025 The Qualitons started rehearsing for their upcoming show. Instead of rehearsing the setlist, though, we started a random jam session in the studio and this improvised set has become this unexpected album. We decided to leave most of our mistakes, comments and in-between conversations unedited. Even the order of the songs remains the same as we played them live. We did have a short coffee break after the ‘A’ side set, hence the unconventional split point. It’s chill, goofy, soulful and was a lot of fun to play. Thanks for listening.

It is so hard to find words how much we’re gonna miss one of the most exquisite places for live performance called ÁROK.
Huge thanks to the entire @koloradofesztival team and for having trust in our music and host us each year. Every occasion was extremely joyful and each time we could feel the amazing power of what live music is intended for: the joy of being together and enjoy the constant flow of sounds, the moving with our bodies, and escape the ever growing alienation and loneliness in our everyday lives.
We all hope that this is a cheerful sign of a reversal in this seemingly irreversible trend.
