Coming out August 22! Brooklyn was originally inspired by a story about a son who lived in LA and hadn't seen his father in Twenty years. His longing and connection to Brooklyn as a metaphor for his reconnecting with his father. It subconsciously became about me emotionally reconnecting with my wife who grew up in Brooklyn.
