A 'bridge between city and garden', the extension at the @holburnemuseumbath opened 15 years ago today! The design reorientates the building towards Sydney Gardens, evoking an umbilical link between architecture and landscape. The vertical bands of ceramic that protrude from the reflective glass walls were poured by hand, before being mottled in bluey-green tones, mirroring the arboreal landscape surrounding them. We are excited to be opening up our studio for another instalment of the @londonfestivalofarchitecture ! Our Open Studio event will explore the meaning of home through our exhibition titled 'Home Is...': Home is not only a place that we physically inhabit but also a reflection of who we are and where we come from. It can foster feelings of belonging, evoke memories, offer emotional comfort, and provide opportunities for shared experience. By asking our studio community the question ‘Home is...’ we are creating an exhibition of objects, illustrations, and personal stories, gaining a greater understanding of each other and our different backgrounds. Join us for light refreshments, conversations and an exploration of the relationship between place, belonging and community. What does Home mean to you? All are welcome! ------------------------- #EricParryArchitects #LFA2026 #Belonging #LFAOpenStudio #LondonFestivalOfArchitecture #ArchitectureExhibition

Eric Parry Architects' 'Parry St Germain' team performed impressively to take third place in the 2026 #BuiltWorldCup tournament. Organized by @ingmedia_ @thedeveloperuk and @festivalofplace , and sponsored by @thecrowdcreative and The Goodsyard (a joint venture between @Ballymore and @hammerson_plc ) aimed to raise funds for @brave.to.rebuild , a charity dedicated to rebuilding lives and homes in Ukraine. Parry St Germain finished top of their group for the second year in a row, going unbeaten in five dramatic games against competitors from the construction industry. They surpassed last years placing with an outstanding 3-1 victory in the quarter finals, before succumbing to a narrow 3-2 defeat by the eventual champions, Bishopsgate Goodsyard. A great team performance in the third place playoff secured us the bronze medal with a 2-1 win! Most importantly, the tournament raised over £11,000 for Ukrainian charity Brave to Rebuild. ------------------------ #EricParryArchitects #Football #BuiltWorldCup #Charity #Fundraising

Last week the wider team gathered for a Pin-Up on two international competitions which we entered in 2025. Coming together like this is a great opportunity to reflect on the hard work put in by the team and discuss any lessons learned which will help us in future competitions. Thank you to the teams for giving us a look at the fantastic work produced! ------------------- #EricParryArchitects #EPAPinUp #Architecture #ArchitectureCompetition #OfficeEvent

Eric Parry Architects is excited to be entering our ‘Parry St Germain’ football team into #BuiltWorldCup for the second year running, organized by @ingmedia_ @thedeveloperuk and @festivalofplace , and sponsored by @thecrowdcreative and The Goodsyard (a joint venture between @Ballymore and @hammerson_plc ). The tournament will see our team go head-to-head with a host of big names from the construction industry to raise funds for @brave.to.rebuild , a charity dedicated to rebuilding lives and homes in Ukraine. When ING Media invited EPA to contribute to such an important charity initiative, we jumped at the opportunity and began assembling our squad immediately. Parry St Germain will be looking to build on their experience gained at last year’s Tournament, and hope to see off stiff competition to lift the coveted ‘Golden Pineapple’ trophy… ------------------------ #EricParryArchitects #Football #BuiltWorldCup #Charity #Fundraising

For the final instalment of our 'The Human Face of Architecture' lecture series, we welcomed David Leatherbarrow and Kenneth Frampton to our office for an insightful lecture, which set out to rediscover architecture's human face through the use of scale. We want to thank David and Kenneth, as well as all the other wonderful speakers on the series - Alberto Pérez-Gómez, Peter Carl, Alexandra Stara, Torsten Schlicht, Shirazeh Houshiary and Christian Frost - for sharing their knowledge and insights throughout the series. It has been a wonderful platform for discussions and deeper thought about architecture through an academic lens. Associate Emily Posey’s recent opinion piece in the @architectsjournal is a powerful reminder that construction is where architecture becomes real — and where architects can have the greatest impact. 4 Pancras Square's expressed steel structure recalls the heroic engineering of the industrial revolution and the railways that enabled the expansion of London. The glazed ceramic was the material that in the 19th Century and early modernism architecture was used in response to the dirtier environment of the European cities of these times. The natural patination of the steel absorbs light in contrast to the glazed surface of the ceramic that reflects light. Eagle Place is an entirely new building yet incorporates two pre-existing facades, making up an urban collage that responds to the setting and scale of the three street elevations - Piccadilly, Jermyn Street and Eagle Place. The building was designed to respond to the surrounding streets scale, massing and character which mediates between boisterous and tranquil; from the bustling thoroughfares of Piccadilly and Regent Street to the more intimate Eagle Place, and distinctive Jermyn Street, known for its small scale, specialist retail environment, historically dominated by gentlemen’s tailoring since the 17th century.
