XTR, SunTour and introducing Dura-Ace. Lovely earth tones this go around and my favorite batch to date. Brought back the 60s SunTour script logo as well in an olive blank that I really dig 🌞 As always, embroidered by the wonderful @crewelxunusual in Richmond. Thanks Daniel!
Fresh hats are in, link in profile. Suntour, XTR, and Le Simplex!
Embroidered in Richmond by @crewelxunusual ✨We used Adams LP101 pigment dyed blanks. My favorite stock hats out there
I built a 1970s Raleigh International into a plush road bike with 38mm tires and a crisply indexing Scampy drivetrain. Reynolds 531 tubes, French parts, French fit.
It was great to bring a long-smoldering vision to life and the results exceeded my expectations. There’s a build video over on YouTube, follow the link in my profile.
Much thanks and appreciation to @maxcr for finding this frame on Craigslist which allowed me to connect with Bradley @bcberry10 for hand off at Nutmeg back in 2023.
Thanks as always to @teresita_crumb for the drivetrain assistance on the 24/7 mechanical crisis hotline. Divining spiritual inspiration from @jpweigle and @shredportals yet again.
The Internationalé is a very nice riding bike, indeed 🇯🇵🇮🇹🇬🇧🇫🇷🇹🇼
I had a wonderful time in Connecticut at the Nor’Easter. Beautiful roads, great people, solid sleep. On Sunday I swam in Long Island Sound and got to touch some horses. Thanks to everyone who came by my table and picked up a shirt! And thanks of course to everyone at @ronsbikes for hosting us.
Sweet relief, the miserable Virginia heat wave finally cracked delivering delicious spring weather, cool and breezy, for a great ride w my top pal Forrest @forrestmarquisee
