Art Direction for KAZI (2024)
In 2022, I visited the King’s Palace in Nyanza for the first time. It was one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of my life. So when @emika__k & @_jkwilliams approached me with their brilliant idea of creating a fashion film that bridges Rwanda’s past and present, it felt natural to draw from the references of that experience.
This film captures the essence of dress while showcasing its power as a vehicle for cultural preservation.
Endless gratitude to everyone who made this possible and entrusted me with contributing to this work 🫂🩶
