There’s a certain sensibility that comes with bdays that’s quite hard to put into words. A mix of emotions that makes us feel so vulnerable. We think about what we have done so far and what we have not. We grow grateful for the people in our lives and for how God has protected us all these years, even in the moment we never prayed for.
I cried so much the morning of my bday, it’s crazy. Some phone calls and deep prayers humbled me so much. We realise how little and big we are at the same time. How far we have grown but how much further we have to grow.
The tears kept on pouring as I realise how blessed I am, even despite wanting more - not just for myself but for the people around me. How everything has been intentionally created for us to serve His purpose. The colour of our skin, our mind, personalities, soul & spirit. Nothing is random.
And maybe what we fear the most is not failure - but how powerful beyond measure we truly are.
