#sebastiengirard and his amazing #richardprince1234 Instagram Recordings at the #laartbookfair. A 12-volume set containing every Instagram post made by #richardprince’s former account. These posts were usually deleted within a day or two, making this the only record of an important aspect of Prince’s practice (of course, RP is famous for making “paintings” of Instagram posts). Each volume is housed in one of more than 1000 different record sleeves. I own the complete set and cannot recommend it highly enough to any other RP nerds! 📚📚
Nice to see two of my books in the rack @printedmatterinc at the #laartbookfair and even nicer to see them alongside the new book by my friend @catherine_mcgann_photo (who shot the Ruscha-inspired image for the cover of #ericdoeringerbooksandco ) 📚📚
“De Kooning Drawings” by #willemdekooning (1967), “Erased de Kooning Drawings” by me (2016), and “de Kooning Drawings” by #ritaackermann (2016 - published after my version). #ericdoeringerbooksandco continues this week @arcanabooks - please visit if you’re in town for the #laartbookfair !! 📚📚
Rare #larryfagin book with cover by #edruscha, from the estate of #samanthaeggar (who was dating Ruscha at the time the book was published), and a few other cool art books I got at her #estatesale today
Richard Prince’s appropriation of JD Salinger’s “The Catcher in the Rye” and my appropriation of his appropriation (aka the Bootleg version). Prince’s book currently sells for more than $10k (definitely the most valuable book I own), mine is much more affordable. Pick up a copy at my exhibition #ericdoeringerbooksandco @arcanabooks 📚📚 #richardprince #jdsalinger
“Some Los Angeles Apartments” by #edruscha (1965) and my version from 2009. My version includes photographs of every address in Ruscha’s book, shot nearly 45 years later. #ericdoeringerbooksandco continues @arcanabooks if you’d like to own a copy… 📚📚 #somelosangelesapartments
