For FUN-A-DAY 26’, I worked on 28 short ambient/soundscape mini-moments, which I released as an album for consumption under my previous fun-a-day music project “Best News Weapon”.
I titled each song after a forgotten weather term, hence the name “Forgotten Weather”. The meaning of each term in the track description.
It was fun to play around with pedals and other noise making devices to create these songs/mini-moments each day in Feb.

Very excited to announce that @bonfireclubrecs has released my 2008 album, “Remnants of Storytown” on vinyl. This was my first record of original songs, released on CD only on PIX Records. My good pal @dakotafloyd is doing a series of vinyl releases of records from his 20 years of booking DIY shows that never had a vinyl release. I’m honored to have this record included!
It’s a limited run release on various fun colors. I have a hand full for in-person commerce, but pick one up from Dakota. I’ll include a link in my bio.
No remixing or remastering, just rough ass DIY recordings from almost 20 years ago. Reflecting on the record, it feels like a time capsule from a very different point in my life, yet also extremely relevant today. I just finished tracking a new solo record, and I feel like thematically, it’s pretty similar, but the songwriting has matured, for sure. I will always appreciate the fact that I still get to write songs and play music, and keep heavily the ethics of DIY music and culture. Dakota is a gem, and I am grateful for his friendship and support!

@nicehockeyband has been busy, and continues to be. With Porch Fest, then two Schenectady Sunday Market shows, both are split sets with Eric Ayotte full band.

TONIGHT! I’m very proud of this program, and for 3 years of the Mayfly Film Festival. It’s an incredible hour of international short films all focused on different environmental issues and topics.
Sadly, we won’t be outside tonight, but we will be in a great room thanks to @sloctheater 418 Liberty St. starts at 8pm. Drinks by @backbarnbrewingco
We will have non-alcoholic options as well.
