ONE WEEK! Iāll be climbing The Space Needle (all 832 steps of it) next week. I just wanted to thank each and every person who donated to the cancer charity or gave me words of encouragement!
Iāve been climbing the 10 story library a couple of times each week in preparation. It might take me 2 hours, but Iām determined to make it to the top. Iāll have you all cheering in my head all the way up!!
Hey folks!
Many of you know that Iāve had some health and mobility issues over the last couple of years, resulting in my walking with a cane. And most of you know that all of that stemmed from, of all things, cancer. So itās been quite the journey these past couple of years for me!
If you werenāt aware of the mobility issues or my cancer, I apologize youāre just now finding out. But all is good, cancer is gone (hooray!), and I am feeling great and getting stronger every day.
To that end, I am doing a charity event for a local cancer research center that involves me (drumroll please) climbing the freaking Space Needle! Itās 832 stepsāor 52 storiesātall! Until very recently, I hadnāt been able to climb more than about 10 steps at a time. š¬
If you want to donate to the cause, the link is in my bio. Please donāt feel obligated to donate at all, but Iād love if you would cheer me on in this little adventure. Knowing I have a team of friends and loved ones all over rooting for me would mean the world. Help me give a big middle finger to cancer from 520 feet in the air!!
