Many of you only know my “fitness era.” But these other pics? They were me about a year before I got stabbed. At the time I had just quit an analytics job at an agency in Brazil that I thought would bring me fulfillment. It didn’t. I was almost 30, unemployed, numbing myself with alcohol, weed, and 12-hour World of Warcraft sessions. Putting on a shell of happiness for pictures while I felt completely lost. What pulled me out wasn’t some flashy transformation hack… it was boring systems and structure. Tracking my food. Training consistently. Building discipline where there had been none. Then life hit me even harder - the stabbing. That moment forced me to shift my life completely. I rebuilt myself by rebuilding my strength, and eventually, everything else followed.
