Perilous Passage: Birth in America, featuring Christy Turlington Burns, examines the state of maternal health in America after Roe V Wade was overturned, and the very real human cost of poilcy made without people in mind.
Filming with the extraordinary @cturlington and her amazing organization @everymomcounts and working with Director @jennijo0920 and the team at @seeitnowdocs@ericads15@ays_ays_baby@caruhh was an incredible experience. I can’t thank them enough for bringing me on for this eye opening journey.

They say take your pain and make it into art, on Saturday I lost my mom Cynthia, and the world lost one of the strongest, most artistic, beautiful and heart felt people to have ever walked this earth. She was the mom of mom’s, quietly course correcting and guiding me through some of life’s greatest and most difficult of challenges. Her smile healed all wounds and and her soulful cooking second to none. To say she will be missed is an understatement, I still can’t believe you are gone, but the greater the sorrow the greater the tax for winning the parent lottery. I’m so thankful for the transformative property of music and am so thankful that you were my mom. I love you.
