@equality_media has taken home the Contribution to Local Community Award at the 2025 REA Excellence Awards, recognised for its long-standing partnership with the Women’s Property Initiative (@wpi_homes ) and its commitment to supporting women and children at risk of homelessness.
The team shows how success in business can (and should) extend beyond the work itself to create meaningful, lasting change in the community.

🎙️ Off Script (but on the record) featuring Marilla, our managing director.
Marilla shares her hot take on AI, the very obvious signs when someone’s used it for a brief or resume… and why you should probably read it before hitting send.
Short-term cuts. Long-term consequences.
Leah shares a timely perspective on the budgets that are often the first to go, and why that decision can cost far more than it saves.
Because when brand and long-term thinking are deprioritised, the impact isn’t immediate. It shows up later in slower growth, weaker positioning and a much harder path back.
A reminder that what looks like a saving today can shape the next decade.

Happy 1 year, Eley 💛 You’re a real ray of sunshine in the team. Always positive, always kind, and someone who brightens the room the second you walk in.
A strategic superstar with a love of pop culture, and someone who’s always open, thoughtful and up for the challenge. Such a delight to work with, and someone we’re very glad to have around.
Here’s to one year and many more ✨
We gave the mums of the office another job and got them to ask what we do for work and apparently it mostly involves gardening 🌸 and just “sending emails” 👩💻
The job descriptions might be a little off, but one thing is very clear… mums really do the most.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums and mother figures juggling a million things at once and still showing up with so much love, care and patience. Today is for you 💞
Part 2 of the office tour, cheek out the shower guys! 👀
Marilla continuing the tour, taking us up to where a lot of the thinking (and meetings) happen ✨
We’d be lying if we said we weren’t thinking about Kelan coming back… So we did what felt right and rewrote Baby Come Back 🎤
"Kelan come back" has been on repeat for a while, and safe to say we’re very glad it’s no longer just a song.
Welcome back baby, we mean Kelan!! 💛
How are we all getting older, except for Kristy? She looks as youthful as the day we met her five years ago!
Kristy is the epitome of team player. She is always across the detail, keeping everything moving and lifting the standard without ever needing the spotlight. It’s the kind of impact that shows up everywhere, even if it’s not always loud.
This year alone says a lot. Three BAPCAs and taking home the Grand Prix. A reflection of someone who truly lives and breathes our values and shows up for the team every single time.
The definition of collaborative. Generous with your time, your thinking and your energy, and someone we all rely on more than we probably say.
We’re very lucky to have you 💛 Happy five year anniversary, Kristy 🎉
Q1, you’ve set the tone. 6 awards 🏆, 3 work trips, countless shoots across TVC, content and socials 🎥, new clients through the door 🤝 and a very good office upgrade ✨. Culture Club, cocktail duels 🍸 and everything in between, plus two very well-deserved promotions for Nicola & Emily 👏
A strong start to the year, bring on Q2 💫
5 things we learned at @thesocialsummit Melbourne 👇
💡 Storytelling isn’t a “nice to have” anymore. It’s the difference between being seen and being skipped.
💡 Speak your customer’s language, not your brand deck. The gap between what brands say and what people actually search is bigger than most realise.
💡 Shareability is the real metric. We’re moving from likes to saves and shares. That’s what signals content worth passing on 📲
💡 Cultural relevance is the new creative edge. If your grid still feels like a product catalogue, you’re already behind 👀
💡 Creator briefs matter more than ever. Knowing your non-negotiables upfront is what leads to better work, not more control.
The brands cutting through aren’t trying to be everywhere. They’re being specific, human and intentional in how they show up.
The @soho_living Collab Campaign was built on a simple idea. The quality of a home is only as strong as the partners behind it.
Phase one focused on the suppliers. A social and radio campaign showcasing the trusted partners who help bring every SOHO home to life, from floors to ceilings. The craftsmanship and collaboration spoke for themselves, with the campaign delivering a sale within its first week.
Phase two shifts the focus to the homeowner. Showing how these partnerships translate into real value for buyers. Thoughtfully designed homes, built with trusted suppliers, so quality never feels like a compromise.
The next chapter is already in motion. A new TVC is currently in development, highlighting the homes now available to young Australians and the lifestyle that comes with them.
You might have seen our latest TVC for @soho_living Life Without Compromise 📺
This campaign started with a simple but powerful insight. Buying a home shouldn’t mean putting life on hold. It should be the start of it.
Working closely with the team at @soho_living and @flagpostproduction , we helped bring this to life through the overarching strategy, alongside creative development, pre-production, production and post.
A proud moment for the team and a step forward in the kind of creative work we’re building.
And to SOHO Living, thank you for trusting us to bring this to life.
