Please come and visit me selling my single fired stoneware ceramics along side many other artisan makers this weekend at this beautiful venue. We will be in covered marquee so rain or shine it promises to be a wonderful day out. ☀️ ☔️ 🌺 Standen House Spring makers fair Friday 15 May - Sunday 17 May 2026 10am - 4pm Standen House West Hoathly Road East Grinstead RH19 4NE Set within the atmospheric grounds of Standen House — a prime example of Arts & Crafts architecture designed by Philip Webb — the fair unfolds as the gardens burst into fresh colour. Visitors are invited to wander through a thoughtfully curated collection of makers, showcasing a wide range of techniques and materials, and to shop directly from the artists themselves. Spread across the grounds, clusters of makers’ gazebos can be found on Goose Green, while our grand marquee on the croquet lawn houses a stunning display of handmade work by professional artists and makers. Normal National Trust admission applies. Non-members can choose between garden-only admission, which includes access to the fair, or house and garden admission, which allows full access to both the fair and Standen House itself. @themakersfair @standennt @london.potters

A beautiful little collaboration 🤍 I’m so excited to share that a curated selection of stunning handmade pottery from @epsompots is now available to shop inside The Little Retreat. We currently have a small collection of beautiful bud vases, mugs, espresso cups and ceramic pieces available for clients to browse and purchase during their visit ✨ Janice is not only incredibly talented, but also one of my lovely clients, so having her beautiful work in the cabin feels extra special. She creates each piece by hand from her home studio in Epsom, producing small batches of thoughtfully made stoneware that are both beautiful and practical. I’ve admired her work for such a long time, so being able to bring her pottery into The Little Retreat and support another local business feels really lovely 🤍 Feel free to have a browse during your next appointment but fair warning, you may want to take everything home ✨ #thelittleretreatepsom #epsompots #beautifulcollaboration

Here’s my latest range of mini bud vases ideal for delicate stems. I’ve made these specially for my next event @standennt with @themakersfair . This three day event will@be in the beautiful grounds at the @nationaltrust property. I’ll be focussing my range for this event on vessels for flowers and the outdoors - bird feeders, bee watering stations, gardeners mugs and flower frogs. 📅 16-18 May 2026 📍 Standen House, West Hoathley Road, East Grinstead, RH19 4NE 😊 🌞 Thank you for watching. #budvases #springflowers #nationaltrust

Fun little clip to show my process of making my bee feeders which are now on sale at the @ntbookshop in London with the NT Honey. The feeders come with whittled willow sticks to place in the flower bed and keep the bees hydrated. 🐝 The initial hump of clay was 2.5kg. I find it so much easier making small items off the hump rather than on the wheel head. Enjoy ☺️ 🌞 🌺 #honeybee🐝 #offthehump

Thank you to everyone who came, queued and bought from me and all the potters @gladstonepottery this weekend. I had the most joyful time in Stoke selling at Gladstone Museum and exploring the history of Stoke and all its makers. It was as uplifting, fulfilling and inspiring as I hoped it would be. 😊 THANK YOU 🙏

Last year I made myself a mission for 2026 - to take my work out of Surrey, to a ceramics only big event. I can quite believe that I’ve managed to do it and that Gladstone is the place this is happening for me. I am beyond proud to be here and humbled by the history and experience that surrounds me in the bricks of this famous pottery and the work this town made. If you’re visiting the museum on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March you are in for an absolute treat of 80 potters and ceramicists from the local community, from The Great Pottery Throwdown and a few of us from around the UK. Come and say hello. I’m in the Tile Gallery on the ground floor, the first of 10 spaces around the site. I look forward to meeting you. Janice

A few more pieces from my new range starting with my Funky Jugs made by reforming a thrown bowl. I loved experimenting with altering beautifully symmetrical thrown vessels. It feels destructive and can be filled with regret if it doesn’t work. When the final form comes out so well and unique it’s a great feeling of satisfaction and pleasure 😊 #experimentingwithart #functionalceramics
