While fruit has been trending recently in wedding décor, the streamlined simplicity of using lemons paired with a monochromatic palette of sunny hues is a welcomed approach. 🥂 Hii friends – I think it’s time for a reintroduction of your girl! I’m Hailey, owner and lead planner at Epoch Event Coordinating. If you’ve ever wanted to know a little more about me – here’s your chance (!!) Sunday is my favorite day of the week because I enjoy church, time w/ family + friends, eating a great meal, & typically a day of R&R. A glass of wine, summer thunderstorms, and a suspenseful book in my hand would be an ideal evening for me! Some of my hobbies include: traveling, skiing, playing pickleball (*I’m very competitive), paddleboarding in the summer months & overnight backpacking/hiking. My husband and I married in 2018, we are both self-employed with our dream jobs, and in between the hustle, we’re usually working on some home-improvement projects & taking care of our two fur-babies, Gus 🐶 + Remi 🐱. When we’re not home, we enjoy traveling and you bet I’m dragging my husband around to as many restaurants as possible! I’ve always said “I just love, LOVE” and through event + wedding planning, I have the art of surrounding myself with some of life’s most beautiful moments. When people think of a planner, they think detail-oriented and micro-organized, which is accurate, but for me, it’s more than that! Epoch Events was formed from a passion for curating and enveloping the beauty every event was destined to hold. Oxford Languages English Dictionary defines the word epoch, pronounced /ˈepic/ as “a period of time in history or a person’s life, typically one marked by notable events or particular characteristics.” And this is exactly where the name Epoch Events derived from. Planning an event is no easy task, and I take pride in being your destination for top-tier event coordinating & wedding planning! Thank you all for being here & following along on this journey. YOU GUYS, BIG NEWS!! 🤍 Epoch Event Coordinating has officially been named Best Wedding Planner across the West Coast by PNW Weddings.  To have received this honor last year was already surreal… but to be voted #1 again this year!? Truly doesn’t even feel real.  I’ll spare you the long, drawn-out acceptance speech (😉 jk) bc this one means so much. Not that long ago, I was a first-generation college student just trying to figure out what my future could look like. I knew I wanted to work hard, lead with kindness, thrive off of creativity, and build something meaningful… I just didn’t know it would turn into THIS.  What we get to do is so much more than a job. It’s showing up for people on one of the most meaningful days of their lives, lending moments of peace, and bringing something they’ve dreamed about into reality. That never gets old. I’m incredibly proud of how far this business has come, and even more excited for where we’re going.    And it doesn’t stop there, what a sweet surprise to see the same magazine featuring one of our real weddings from this past season! Congrats to @gabrielramirez.photo  for the feature + his winning accolades in the magazine too! I hope so many couples find inspiration from such special celebrations that we’ve been blessed to be a part of!   To my husband, thank you for always believing in me (and supporting all the entrepreneurial shenanigans that come with it). To the team behind the scenes: Tessa, Lo Lo, Lyd, Kat, Ells, Mik, Bre, Syd, Paige, Ashley, Josh, TJ, you guys are the heartbeat behind everything we do. It’s not always that a bride & groom have kiddos at their wedding, but when they do, it brings a deep level of joy. Before Cory & Estevan’s wedding day, Cory had communicated how excited they were to be able to celebrate their special day with the kiddos. Getting to document these moments unfold was an honor. There’s something really special about getting married in a place that already holds so many memories. 🥹 Jake & Gianna chose Gianna’s childhood ranch for their wedding weekend, and it made the entire celebration feel extra special and personal from start to finish. 👩🏽‍🌾🥕🌞🧈You don’t need to be an event planner to spend time with the girlies! This is your sign to host your own Sunday Swap. Some events are grand and luxury, and other gatherings are simple and heartfelt, and both are just as special. Our girl group planned a “Sunday Swap” where everyone brought something homemade to share… and it turned into the sweetest way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

It’s one thing to have a beautiful dress, it’s another for it to mean something. One of our brides, took her mother’s wedding gown and had it custom re-created by the talented @catrinamunoz_bridal into her second look for the reception! The result was a dress that carried so much meaning, while still feeling completely true to her style. This is what we love most, when a wedding isn’t just beautiful, but personal too. 🥹🤍

There are weddings that are beautiful and then there are weddings that feel alive. Morgan & Claire’s day at @vidlakfamilyvineyards was both! The ranch-style venue tucked into the vineyard rows. The mountains sitting quietly in the background. Soft blush florals and single bud vases lining long wooden tables. Everything simple. And then the party started. The kind of dance floor where shoes come off. Where friends link arms and scream-sing lyrics. The kind where happy tears and belly laughs happen within minutes of each other. And yes, those details matter… but they’re not the foundation. A wedding is one day. A marriage is every day after that. The most meaningful celebrations I see are the ones where the decisions aren’t driven by pressure, expectations, or trends, but by intention. Plan the marriage first. Set along the river with decor choices that pulled rich fall tones, their day carried the effortless balance of refinement and warmth. Every detail felt intentional, and the energy never left the room (or the dance floor).
